Pimples - Mousmi shrivastava

Pimples: Biggest nightmare of every girl and even boys but do you know everything about it?

What is pimples and how it happen?
A pimple is a type of swollen part filled with dead skin etc. It develops due to excess secretion of hormones like sebaceous glands and oil glands. These glands clogged and get infected as a result that part of skin swells and sometimes get filled with red pus. Pimples are a part of ache and it is also known as spots or zits.

When and why it happens?
They are more likely to happen around puberty but they can happen at any age. During puberty the rate of secretion of hormones are maximum as compared to other phase of life. Hormones made sebaceous glands and oil glands (which are present below the hair follicles) more active and therefore pimples appears at teenage and during menstruation for women .
They affect the face , back , chest and shoulders because there are many sebaceous glands located in this areas.

Types of pimples:
• Whiteheads(Closed comedo):  Small pimples that remain  under the skin , appears as small , flesh colored.
• Blackheads(Open comedo) : Clearly visible on the surface of skin , black or brown in colour. Occurs due to skin pigmentation.
• Papules: Small , solid , rounded bumps . Pink in colour.
• Pustules: Pimples full of pus.
• Cyst(Scars): Full of pus and very painful.
• Nodules: Similar to papules but larger , painful and embedded deep in skin.

How to prevent pimples?
Take proper diet .i.e. fruits , healthy vegetables,  less oily food , less junk food.
• Wash your face frequently if you have oily skin to prevent oil contamination on your skin.
• Apply alovera on your skin daily , this plant has power to regenerate your skin and make them shine.
• Increase your water consumption.
• Never try to burst them.

So still thinking to use branded products to get rid to pimples??? Follow these advice and get your result. And always remember you are beautiful by your thoughts , your speech ,your behavior not by your skin .
