10 REASONS BEHIND DOMINO'S SUCCESS! - Drashti Panjrolia



WHO WILL TALK AT THE COUNTER TO THE DOMINO GUY?? 

We all asked this question to our group when we went to eat our favourite pizza at domino's pizza. India's pizza market is over 1.5 billion . And domino is having the largest market in india after US. It was started  in india in 1995 and currently it has over 1300 stores in more than 237 cities. Cheese burst is my personal favourite !! Which is yours? Do comment. 

BUT WAIT . The cheesy pizza secret is not the only thing that made domino ahead of its competitors. The reason no. 1 is 

1. AFFORDABLE PRICE

Unlike tata nano.. domino's pizza never told that their pizzas are CHEAP instead they made their pizza available in all price range and in all sizes. And therefore all the income groups can enjoy their pizza 

2. FOCUSSED ON YOUTH AND TECHNOLOGY

They focused on youth as most of millennials prefer to eat outside rather than at home. They used good technology and made every online. They changed with the changing business environment. They changed with time 

3. FAST DELIVERY AND SMILING STAFF

They made their customers the ultimate king. The staffs are very friendly and THEY REALLY DELIVER THEIR PIZZA IN 30 MINUTES ( Even police and ambulance dont come so quick ). The staff are given rewards and every month employee of the Month are made. This help them to work for betterment of company. They make their employees feel like family and make them feel that IT'S THEIR COMPANY . 

4. CHANGED WITH REGIONAL TASTE

Indians love "masaledaar khana" full of spices and Domino's pizza knew it very well. They changed the taste of their pizza as per the requirement of their target audience. They changed according to needs of the community.

5. CHANGED WITH TIME.

After the food delivery platforms like zomato and swiggy came in market. The delivery channel was not shattered. They partnered with zomato and swiggy to let their delivery boys deliver. They changed with times. THEY MADE THEIR OPPONENTS FRIENDS.

6. CONSTANT OFFERS

They brought good offers at festivals. They made Indians feel like they understand their culture. They celebrated all their festivals by giving good offers. You can even celebrate your child's birthday at domino's pizza!! They make you feel like you are their loved one! 

7. GOOD QUALITY AND SANITATION

Even during the covid-19 lockdown their outlets are open because of their good quality and sanitation. They keep good fresh materials and maintain proper hygiene. 

8 PROMISE LESS AND DELIVER MORE

They always under- promise and over deliver. They use EMOTIONAL ADS to promote their products. 

9. KEEP CUSTOMER FOREVER

In case they fail to deliver the pizza in 30 minutes they give away the pizza for free!!! This way they keep their customers forever and form a good goodwill for the business .

10. REGULAR ADS AND NO QUESTIONS ASKED REFUND POLICY.

You almost saw domino's ad everywhere. Let it be YouTube , roadside or tv. And they never ask you the reason when you dont like the pizza they simply replace it. People love it when you treat them like king.
